No legal entity has been registered for this service. The operator has not yet established a legal entity, registered address, or jurisdiction. This policy describes what the service does with data — it does not create a binding legal agreement. The operator must supply an entity name, address, and jurisdiction before this policy binds anyone. Until then, this is an informational statement of current practices.

What Certline does

Certline is a diagnostic tool. When you type a hostname, it opens a TLS connection to that hostname, reads the certificate the server presents, and shows you the result. The tool answers when you ask and does not store anything after the response is sent.

What data is processed

When you use the web tool, the following is transmitted to the Certline backend:

  • The hostname you typed (e.g., example.com)

The backend opens a TLS connection to that hostname. The certificate data returned by the server is sent back to your browser and displayed on the page. It is not stored or logged.

What is not stored

  • No accounts, no user profiles, no login credentials
  • No cookies, no session tokens, no local storage used for tracking
  • No IP addresses are logged, stored, or associated with requests
  • No history of hostnames checked is retained
  • No email addresses are collected

Third-party services

The site is served through Cloudflare's global network. Cloudflare may process connection metadata (IP address, User-Agent, request path) as part of its normal content delivery operations. This is standard for any site served through a CDN. Cloudflare's own privacy policy applies to that processing.

Data retention

The Certline backend is stateless. It does not write to any database, file, or log. Once the response is sent to your browser, the data is gone. No retention period applies because nothing is retained.

Your rights

Because Certline stores no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, delete, or export. If you have questions about this policy, the operator must establish a contact method before any rights request can be processed.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will be revised. No separate notification will be sent — there is no email system, and there are no accounts to notify.
